Recently, there have been reports on the internet regarding one of your faculty/students involved in some highly extremist, and arguably, Nazism speech regarding the contemporary situation in Ukraine and Taiwan which raised our concern. The evidence and corresponding translation are attached below.

While this speech may not post clear and present danger as defined in the current legal system, we believe this is a concerning indicator regarding the political opinion, inclusivity, and moral value of this personnel.

We believe such speech does not align with the value of UIUC, or of any other school institution that pursues progression and justice.

We do not vow for sanction upon this personnel, as we believe in the freedom of speech and due process. However, we do feel the necessity of writing this email to make sure the school and related faculties are aware of such a situation.

不太认同思想极端与失去特权的联系。其实真正的特权阶级，无论在墙内还是海外依然是特权阶级。无论是省部国一级高官的子女还是胡润榜上富豪的家属，一般海外华人或者留学生都是很难直接接触到的。

像UIUC姚天佑这类境外粉畜，多半是两类人：1）家里稍微有点权势（比如区县市一级的官员）或家庭资产百万级别的小微商人；2）一路靠做题拼出来的卷王。他们在国内时往往是小圈子中的核心，或者周围亲友口中别人家的孩子。但到了海外后这些光环全部失去了，而原生家庭并不能给他们提供优渥的海外留学生活，生活质量出现了明显的落差。更要命的是由于自身性格等问题，这类留学生往往并不是所在学院或实验室的社交核心圈成员，所以心理落差也同样巨大。这才导致了他们变得思想极端，并臆想出了一个并不存在的乌托邦般的祖国，为他们受伤的心灵提供慰藉。

另一方面，这样的粉蛆留学生同样十分危险。由于思想行为极端他们往往会在遭受挫折时钻牛角尖进而做出过激的举动。我看到其他浪友提到把这个姚姓粉畜与卢刚联系起来，我觉得这是个很好的思路。本质上来讲姚天佑和卢刚就是同一类人，需要提醒UIUC校方提高警惕，防止类似悲剧发生。
