It’s beautiful. It’s rich. It’s full of amazing, hard working people. People who are strong, creative and brave, so brave. People who are, and have been fighting for our independence for years. People who are dying at the front lines everyday because of a person with a delusional view on the world. Person who is drunk with power. Person who is thirsty for innocent blood and who will not stop until he gets what he wants. Person who is spewing lies to turn everyone against us.      

Ukraine has an incredibly rich culture and history and no one can ever take it away from us. First mention of Ukraine dates all the way back to 12th century, it was NOT created by Lenin. We have our own language, our own flag, our own cuisine and our own borders and that will never change.      

Our cobbled streets, ancient buildings and monuments, breathtaking landscapes and historical landmarks are captivating. Our clothing is intricate and unique. Our food is some of the best you’ll ever have.      

Yes, I’m Ukrainian. No, it’s not part of Russia. No, we don’t drink vodka everyday. No, our bones are not full of radiation because of Chernobyl. No, we don’t have snow 365 days a year and no Russian is NOT my language.      

Thank you to everyone who reached out during this extremely hard time. Thank you to everyone who wants to learn about Ukraine’s history. I am unable to be in my county right now and my heart breaks because of it. So this is one of the ways how I can offer my suport, by spreading the word and hoping that my friends will pass it on.      

Your support means the world to us. We will stand and fight for our country. And we will win once again. Please don’t believe Russian propaganda, lies and Putin’s speeches.
