川普这段采访背后的意思是，普京远比拜登高明得多，只有自己能制服普京。但CNN、纽时等媒体直接按字面意思报道，搞得好像川普支持普京入侵乌克兰，夸这是明智之举一样。但川皇的嘴也真是没个把门的，作为前国家首脑说话没有一丝严谨斟酌，凭着性子张口就来，言谈翻云覆雨，能前一秒和庆丰帝称兄道弟，后一秒指着鼻子骂那种。说到底，川皇不是典型的政客，却是实打实典型的商人。只有商人才会用这种恩威并施巧言威吓来打压对方又让对方回到谈判桌，也只有典型商人会在原则和利益冲突时放弃原则选择利益。

That's a strong word. What went wrong here? What has the current occupant of the Oval Office done that he could've done differently?

They're gonna get peace all right. Now but think of it. Here's a guy who is very savvy. I know him very well, very very well. By the way, this never would've happened with us, had I been in office. Not even thinkable. This would never have happened. But here's a guy that says you know I'm gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent. He used the word "independent". We're gonna go out. We're gonna go in. We're gonna help keep peace. You got to say that's pretty savvy. And you know what the response was from Biden? There was no response. They didn't have one for that. Now, it's very sad.

Chuck Todd asked that question how come none of this was happening during the Trump administration? I knew Putin very well. I got along with him great. He liked me. I liked him. I mean you know he's a tough cookie. He's got a lot of great charm, a lot of pride and he loves his country. He's acting a little differently I think now. I think he sees the opportunity. I knew that he always wanted Ukraine. I used to talk to him about it. I said you can't do it, you're not gonna do it. But I could see that he wanted it. I used to ask him. We used to talk about it at length. I think nobody probably knows him better in terms of the discussions that we have or that we are having this morning. So I knew him very well. I got to know him. I got to know president Xi. By the way, China's gonna be next.
