When I was a kid, there were two dogs that always chased me on my bicycle at their house. I was always scared. One day it was really hot and humid, I was tired and fed up with running away from them. I was going to pump like crazy to outrun them but, no, I was already too tired and sweaty. When they came after me I slammed on the brakes and spun the bike sideways ending up with the bike between me and them. They suddenly stopped and looked at each other then me as if they were thinking, "What the hell, this never happened before?" When I realized it was all a mean game, I got mad, shoved the bike out of the way and went after them snarling and growling at my loudest. They spooked and ran back to the house. When they got to the grass they stopped and barked at me. I laughed at them and rode away.
