中国一些比较奇特的信仰，可以从很多20-30岁这一代人的贫穷成长中得到解释。热水有益健康=太穷了，买不起瓶装水。用烘干机烘干衣服对健康有害=太穷了，买不起烘干机。空调对健康有害=太穷，买不起空调。地毯难清洗/脏=太穷了，买不起地毯。这块内脏对健康有益=太穷了，买不起好肉。他们被贫穷的父母告诉了这句话，现在他们只是一遍遍地重复这句话。我还是不明白为什么雷尼不让我用洗衣机洗内裤。还有其他的吗？
Some of China's more quirky beliefs can be explained from a lot of people of 20-30 age generation growing up poor. Hot water good for health = too poor to afford bottled water. Drying clothes in a dryer is bad for health = too poor to afford a dryer. Aircon is bad for health = too poor to afford aircon. Carpet is difficult to to clean / dirty = too poor to afford carpet. This piece of offal is good for health = too poor to afford good cuts of meat. They were told this by their poor parents and now they just repeat this over and over. Still can't work out why Rainey wont let me wash my underpants in the washing machine though. Any others?
