IMO the CCP is the currently best existing and arguably most successful example of a fascist nation.

Claims to be something grounded in class, but is bound heavily in nationalistic messages and putting itself before the rest of the world.

It claims upon a long and storied historical heritage that led up to it, when in all honesty this iteration of the nation is a modern invention that is dressed in the garbs of the classics to earn support. Any part of their "integral culture" that does not conform to their ideas is removed.

Ideology is used to purge dissidents, but whether or not it is truly followed in the country is dubious.

The focus on a single autocratic leader who is near messiah and brings glory to the nation no matter what. (Xi, but Mao in the past.)

Expansionist policies to take what "belongs to them" in addition to revanchism, in the South China Sea, Hong Kong and Tibet.

There is a free market aspect, but only in regards that everyone understands the free market cowtows to the government when needed, and is only allowed to work because it's profitable.

To go against the government is to be a traitor to the nation, the idea of dissent being justified and not cause of external dangers is absurd.

The nation is the greatest in the world (calling on old ideas of Chinese greatness) and all others in the world are inferior, but they also kept us down in the past and need to be stopped before they try to do it again. Namely, the idea of the World against China.
