美国全民拥枪是被印第安人杀怕了。美国那会儿很多住在农场里，互相隔的远，印第安人又不讲武德，经常半夜跑出来杀全家，你在家里没枪连坚持民兵到来的资本都没有。民兵实际上也是农场主自己，个个有枪，平时自发训练，一接到警报就四处赶来支援，时间一定要快，否则就只能收尸了。也确实是西进运动发生的事，但要是印第安人像东亚支布林一样，美国佬抡锄头都能干死一个加强连，也就没有拥枪的必要了。

《黄石》的主创Taylor Sheridan是演员出身，半路改行当了编剧，Denis Villeneuve导演的《边境杀手》就是他编剧的首部作品，之后他还创作了《Hell or High Water》的剧本，以及自编自导了《Windriver》，都是很不错的佳作。他写的剧本非常扎实，故事都让人如鲠在喉，很有张力。

谢李丹当导演贼j8喜欢说教。黄石就大段大段的说教，随便一个印第安牧民有屁事没屁事就深邃的眼神凝视远方嘴皮子一张一闭一大段写的贼肉麻的说教式台词就哼哼出来了，1883更狠，除了台词甚至还有旁白说教，我滴个亲妈看吐了，亏那前三集壮丽西部史诗看的我泪流满面，后面几集实在是看不下去
